Stress is a major problem in today’s society. It can lead to increased levels of tension, anxiety, and depression.

People who are constantly stressed will experience physical symptoms such as muscle tension, headaches, stomach aches, and sleep problems. It can also affect their emotional well-being by increasing their level of anger or irritability. Stressed people may also be more likely to turn to drugs or alcohol for relief.

Stress is the body’s response to any demand, real or perceived. It is a natural and healthy response that can be helpful in some circumstances. When stress becomes overwhelming and impedes in our ability to function in our daily lives, it means we need to take a step back. When we are over stressed we are not always able to care plan for ourselves or see how to address our situation. Our therapists are here to help.
