Procrastination is a psychological phenomenon characterized by a tendency to delay tasks. Often we procrastinate as we feel no desire to complete the task, as the deadline approaches our stress increases. Often this can lead us to give up on the task as a whole, or to do the task poorly, both of which can increase our stress and anxiety.

It can be related to several aspects of a person’s life, such as academic, occupational, economic, social, or healthcare. This action is often negatively interpreted and can cause anxiety in humans.
