The role of the Narrative Therapist is to work with the client to uncover ways that they can change problematic beliefs and situations in their life, through having conversations that allow them to see new perspectives and possible ideas.
Narrative therapy builds more coherent, adequate, empowering stories. It engages people in considering feelings that are not easily expressed and beliefs that have been avoided.
